In the late 1980s, still just a kid, I got my first pair of creepers as a gift. That night, I couldn’t sleep from the excitement. Today, many years later, we offer a high-end version of those beloved youthful shoes. Handmade and truly tailored using fine materials, built to last and provide comfort, all according to each client’s specifications. Because we still love to play — even if we’re not kids anymore.

We start from a base last that we adapt to your measurements through a simple system of molds sent to your home. 97% reliability. If something doesn’t fit, we solve it at no additional cost.

Each pair is handcrafted according to your ideas, to reflect your style, your attitude and your vision. A design that is not repeated. We only accept 15 clients per month: total attention, no rush and no mass production.

Whether you already have a clear idea or are starting from scratch, we advise you throughout the entire process: from choosing the last, leathers, zippers and soles, to the final details. Because designing your shoes should be as easy as wearing them.

We only use high-end leathers, noble materials and Goodyear Welt construction, the most resistant and comfortable system that exists. There is no other secret. Your shoes are made to last, and you can change the soles as many times as you want without losing shape or fit.

We only accept 15 orders per month because DL Atelier is a personal project within a larger matrix. Our priority is quality and personalized attention, not quantity. We focus on dedicating time to each client and their unique piece, instead of seeking volume and sales pressure
High-end custom shoes for R&R and other styles.
All models are MTM (“made to measure”) we do only produce special order, we don’t have any kind of standard shoe in stock.
DL Taller manufactures unique pieces, 100% handmade, in noble leathers, following the wishes of the client in terms of model, type of leathers and colors.
The mounting technique is always Goodyear Welt.
The investment for a custom model varies greatly depending on the type of leather chosen: from €1800 for genuine crocodile to €290.50 for Spanish aniline leather with multiple intermediate variants. To this, additional work and costs should be added if applicable.
Additional work and costs may include foot molds for new clients, adaptation of lasts and patterns, model modifications, and special patinas. The client will be promptly informed of any extra charges receiving a
final quote without surprises.

Exotic Range:
Florida alligator leather: from €1800.
Python leather: from €350.50.
Cayman leather: from €1200.
Exotic leathers certified by CITES, with options in a wide variety of colors and patinas.
Free combinations between these leathers or with other ranges.
Cordovan Range:
From €550
Traditional genuine Shell Cordovan leather with its mythical shiny finish and distinctive aging.
Possibilities of combinations between leathers from this range and others, according to the design.
Lineage Range:
German Weinheimer box calf: from €330
French Du Puy box calf: from €330
Water-repellent suede and nubuck: from €320
Spanish box calf: from €290.50.
Italian crust dyed by hand: please inquire for price.

to send a request indicating a name, a means of contact (mail and/or whatsapp) and a rough idea of the desired model. We will try to contact you as soon as possible.
The old customers who are already part of this family (customers with a long history of orders and belonging to the DL club) will make the payment once the work is finished.
New customers will be required to make a 20% deposit as an initial payment. The rest of the payment is due upon completion of the job.
Accepted forms of payment are: bank transfer (euros) and Wise (dollars, pounds and other currencies).
Interview with the client to confirm model and details> acceptance of the final budget> 20% payment (if requiered)> sketch presentation> taking measurements> start of work.
The production of custom-made shoes and suits is a handcrafted and completely manual process that can take 10 to 12 weeks from the time the order and measurements are taken (not including the time for sending the molds and shoes). This time includes more than 400 manual operations and collaboration with more than 20 exclusive suppliers, which can generate additional waiting times.
If these deadlines do not fit your needs, we strongly urge you not to consider us to make your shoes, as we cannot modify these production times.

Despite our best efforts to deliver each order as quickly as possible, deadlines cannot be considered guaranteed. External factors, production incidents requiring processes to be repeated, supply delays, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may extend delivery times.
Definelty It’s not possible. These shoes are an exclusive handicraft item that involves more than 200 manual operations, there is no possibility of speeding up the process. On the other hand, the order of arrival and previous clients with orders already underway must always be respected. Therefore, any offer to try to prioritize work will be declined.
